The largest photovoltaic power plant in Poland has been located in the commune of Czernikowo

Annual electricity production in Czerników is estimated at 3,500 MWh, which is enough to cover the demand of approximately 1,600 households. With this annual production volume, a conventional power plant would emit around 3,000. tons of carbon dioxide.

The installation consists of nearly 16 thousand. panels – each with a power of 240 W, which cover an area of over 22.5 thousand. square meters, which corresponds to the size of several football fields.

The Czernikowo solar farm, with an installed capacity of 3.77 MW, has a container transformer station consisting of a low voltage switchgear, transformer chamber and medium voltage switchboard with a control room and an underground cable connection to the 15 kV MV line.
